Leslie Watson-Stracener | Chief Compliance & Client Experience Officer

For almost 20 years, Leslie has been working in banking and mortgage services. Her experience includes roles in mortgage banking, process design, operations management, program/project management, organizational change management, acquisition integration, exam management and systems administration.

Prior to joining Marquis, Leslie had significant roles in mortgage banking and compliance management, including Director in Compliance Risk at Grant Thornton LLP, Vice President of Compliance at PrimeLending and various positions at ViewPoint Bank, now LegacyTexas Bank. She currently leads the compliance, compliance sales, client experience, support, data client services and contract management teams.

Leslie holds a BS degree from Texas A&M University-Commerce and is a Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager and a Certified Community Bank Compliance Officer. She enjoys running, spending time with family and friends and relaxing with her dog Chester.
