Objective:

This financial institution recognized the value of carefully targeted, data-driven direct marketing. They turned to MARQUIS to put this idea into action.

Analysis:

The institution needed to effectively use client data to focus their marketing efforts, track the results, and provide tangible evidence of a solid return on investment.

Action:

A multi-faceted approach was developed, including Onboarding to welcome new clients and introduce them to additional products, and Reboarding to thank existing low-involvement clients for their business and encourage them to open new accounts. Quarterly trigger programs were used to deliver a series of tailored product offers designed to increase relationship strengthening among existing clients and to attract new accounts from prospective clients. These programs included:

• Mailers demonstrating the value of the client’s home equity with an invitation to apply for a Home Equity Loan or an offer of a Pre-approved Home Equity Loan
• Hot Rate CD offers to existing and prospective clients
• Auto and Motorcycle loans, new mortgages and mortgage refinancing offers
• Offers for Lines of Credit, and secured and unsecured Personal Loans
• Consumer and business No Interest Checking account promotions

Results:

Four consecutive year results are impressive.
