ONBOARDING: BUILDING STRONG RELATIONSHIPS

Goal:

Welcome new customers and build relationships with additional products to increase profitability and reduce long term attrition.

Strategy:

With the help of a MARQUIS strategist, a series of letters was developed to communicate with new customers. The monthly letters extended a warm welcome and promoted various products and services, making targeted offers based on previous product purchase and next most likely product prediction.

Results:

With a 7% response rate, the program generated $22 million in new balances in the first six months. For every $1 spent on direct marketing, $1.86 in profit was returned to the client.
