Objective:

Increase loan and deposit balances while reducing attrition.

Analysis:

This $1.2 billion financial institution recognized the value of expert strategic planning, and hoped to maximize the impact of their marketing efforts through highly targeted, data-driven communications.

Action:

An OnTrax consultant developed a comprehensive strategy that encompassed monthly onboarding, trigger events such as anniversaries, relationship building initiatives and several ongoing loan recapture programs. With multiple touch points and a consistent mailing schedule, most households were part of at least one campaign over the last few years.

Results:

With a direct correlation between enhanced relationships and the number of campaigns received, average deposits, loans and profit all increased with the number of campaigns a household received.
Over a four-year period:
• Average household deposit balances increased by almost 20%.
• Loan balances increased by over 6%.
• Relationship building ratios increased by almost 2%.
