Marquis Announces Class-Action Settlement Term Sheet, Including Opportunity for Customer Releases

Plano, Texas — October 15, 2026 — Marquis Software Solutions, Inc. announced today that it has signed a settlement term sheet with the plaintiffs in the class action. The proposed settlement represents an important step toward resolving the litigation, subject to finalization of a definitive settlement agreement and court approval.

In negotiating the settlement, Marquis went beyond resolving the claims against itself. The company committed to a substantially greater settlement investment to secure the opportunity for qualifying customers to be included in the release. This reflects Marquis’s commitment to supporting its customers and making meaningful protection available to those who participate.

“We could have pursued a settlement that addressed Marquis alone. Instead, we chose to invest substantially more to create an opportunity for our customers to receive protection as well,” said Satin Mirchandani, CEO of Marquis. “Our customers are central to our business, and securing this opportunity for them was an important priority in reaching this agreement.”

Subject to the final settlement terms and court approval, qualifying clients included in the release would receive protection against the claims covered by that release. All current eligible clients in good standing with contracts extending through at least November 2027 that had impacted account holders will be added to the class release. Eligibility and inclusion will be confirmed by Marquis in accordance with final settlement terms.

The settlement involves no admission of wrongdoing. It addresses the class action only; Marquis’s separate matter against SonicWall continues to progress.
